22U-26-21520 is a 20-tooth planetary gear used in the first reduction stage of the swing gearbox on Komatsu PC200-7 and PC200LC-7 excavators. Three planetary gears are installed in the applicable first-stage carrier to transmit load between the sun gear and ring gear.

This part should be confirmed by the OEM number, 20T gear configuration and its first-stage installation position. Similar planetary gears are used elsewhere in the swing reducer, so the excavator model alone is not sufficient for final parts identification.

Inspection Before Replacement

Check the gear teeth for pitting, chipped edges, abnormal polishing and uneven contact patterns. The gear bore and bearing surfaces should also be inspected for scoring, excessive clearance or signs of poor lubrication.

If one planetary gear is seriously damaged, inspect the complete first-stage set together with the carrier pins, bearings, sun gear and gearbox oil condition before installing replacement parts.
