Product Description
31Y1-15230 is an arm hydraulic cylinder seal kit for selected Hyundai excavators. The applicable cylinder configuration uses a 100 mm rod and 140 mm bore and is associated with arm cylinder assembly 31N6-50130.
The kit is used when rebuilding the excavator arm cylinder. Correct fitment should be confirmed by the seal kit number, machine model and production serial range.
31Y1-15230 applies to R200W-7 machines in the #0001–0135 range, R210LC-7 through #3965, and R210NLC-7 through #0268. Later production ranges use different arm cylinder seal kit configurations.
Because later versions can use different seal kit numbers even on the same excavator model, the machine serial number should be checked before ordering.
Inspect the 100 mm piston rod for scoring, corrosion and chrome damage, and check the 140 mm cylinder bore, piston, gland and seal grooves for wear before installing the new seals.
Clean all components thoroughly and install each seal in the correct direction. Damaged cylinder surfaces or hydraulic contamination should be corrected before the rebuilt cylinder returns to service.
