Product Description
31Y1-15885 is a boom hydraulic cylinder seal kit for selected Hyundai excavators. The applicable cylinder configuration uses an 85 mm rod and 120 mm bore and serves both left-hand and right-hand boom cylinders.
Fitment is production-range dependent, so the machine serial number should be checked together with the original seal kit number before ordering.
For R200W-7, 31Y1-15885 applies from serial number #0615. For R210LC-7 it applies from #3966, and for R210NLC-7 from #0269. The corresponding R200W-7A, R210LC-7A and R210NLC-7A configurations also use this boom seal kit.
Earlier R200W-7 and R210NLC-7 machines use 31Y1-18061 instead. That earlier kit is a serial-range alternative, not a cross reference for 31Y1-15885.
Inspect the 85 mm piston rod, 120 mm cylinder bore, gland, piston and seal grooves for scoring, corrosion or abnormal wear before fitting the new seals.
Clean all components thoroughly and install each seal in the correct direction. Damaged cylinder surfaces or hydraulic contamination should be corrected before the rebuilt cylinder returns to service.
