Product Description
The 4257128 fuel tank float is used in the fuel level monitoring system of Hitachi excavators. Movement of the float follows the fuel level inside the tank and provides the corresponding input for the machine fuel gauge.
Common symptoms of a worn or damaged unit include a fuel gauge that remains empty or full, changes intermittently, or no longer follows the actual fuel level. The connector, wiring and free movement of the float arm should also be checked before replacement.
