Common Mini Excavator Travel Faults:

• Steering Drift (Pulling to One Side): If track tension is equal, swap the left and right main hydraulic lines. If the weakness remains on the same side, the internal rotary group of that motor is worn and the assembly requires replacement.
  

• Leaking Thick Oil Behind Sprocket: This indicates a failed main floating seal. Ignoring this will allow dirt to destroy the planetary gears, turning a seal replacement into a complete drive replacement.

Critical Installation Guidelines for Maximum Lifespan:

1. Clear the Case Drain Line (Crucial): A blocked case drain line is the #1 cause of catastrophic motor failure. You must ensure the drain line is completely clear (back-pressure < 0.2 MPa) before operating the new drive.

2. Pre-Lubricate the Motor: Pour clean hydraulic fluid into the motor's top drain port before starting the engine to prevent dry-start scoring on the internal brass components.

3. Accurate Gear Oil Filling: Fill the planetary section with SAE 90 (API GL-5) gear oil. Position the drive so the fill plug is at 12 o'clock and the level plug is at 3 or 9 o'clock. Fill only until oil weeps from the middle plug. Do not overfill.
