To validate your 6-month warranty and ensure the longevity of your new travel motor, please adhere strictly to these installation procedures:
1. Case Drain Line Clearance (CRITICAL):Before starting the machine, you must thoroughly clean and blow out the case drain line. The back-pressure in the drain line must not exceed 0.2 MPa (2 bar). A restricted case drain will instantly rupture the internal floating seal, allowing hydraulic fluid to flood the gearbox. This is the #1 cause of premature failure.
2. Pre-fill the Hydraulic Motor:Never start the travel motor dry. Before connecting the main hydraulic hoses, pour clean hydraulic oil directly into the motor's highest case drain port to lubricate the internal piston group and brass valve plate.
3. Fill the Planetary Gearbox:The reduction gearbox is shipped completely dry. You must fill the gear section with approximately 4.5 Liters of SAE 90 or 80W-90 (API GL-5) gear oil. Fill through the top plug until oil weeps out from the middle level plug. Do NOT overfill (do not fill with 17 Liters!).
4. Initial Run-In:Raise the track off the ground and operate the travel pedals slowly in both forward and reverse for 5-10 minutes to bleed any trapped air from the system before applying a load.
