4379261 Arm Cylinder Seal Kit

4379261 is an arm hydraulic cylinder seal kit for selected Hitachi excavators. The applicable cylinder configuration uses a 75 mm rod and 105 mm bore.

The kit is used for arm cylinder resealing during hydraulic cylinder overhaul. Confirm the original part number and cylinder group before ordering.

Hitachi Excavator Fitment

4379261 is documented for Hitachi EX100-5 arm cylinder group 4314895 and EX110-5 arm cylinder group 4314899. It is also listed for the 4371393 offset-boom cylinder configuration used on selected EX130H-5 machines.

For EX100-5, the documented application starts from machine serial number 01001. Cylinder group numbers are application references and are not cross references for 4379261.

Arm Cylinder Rebuild Checks

Inspect the 75 mm piston rod for scoring, corrosion and chrome damage, and check the 105 mm cylinder bore, piston, gland and seal grooves before installing the new kit.

Clean all components thoroughly and install each seal in the correct position and direction. Damaged cylinder surfaces or hydraulic contamination should be corrected before returning the rebuilt cylinder to service.
