Product Description
The 190-5842 lower radiator hose (also referenced as 1905842, CA1905842, or lower water hose) is a pre-formed coolant return hose designed for Caterpillar 308C and 308C CR (E308C) mini hydraulic excavators. Positioned at the bottom of the cooling circuit, it connects the lower radiator outlet to the water pump inlet on the Mitsubishi 4M40 diesel engine.

This 33 mm inner diameter lower hose is engineered for Caterpillar 308C CR compact radius excavators (serial number prefix KCX00001-UP) equipped with the Mitsubishi 4M40 engine. In the 308C radiator water lines assembly, it works together with the matching upper radiator hose (190-5841). Its reinforced wall structure prevents suction collapse under water pump draw while resisting heat and coolant chemical breakdown.
