Product Description

Heavy-Duty 190-5795 Upper Radiator Hose for Caterpillar 3126B Engine

Ensure optimal engine cooling and prevent catastrophic overheating with our premium aftermarket 190-5795 Upper Radiator Water Hose. Engineered specifically as a 1:1 exact replacement for Caterpillar CAT 322C and 325C excavators powered by the classic 3126B diesel engine, this 1905795 hose requires no modifications for a perfect fit.

Advanced Material & Technical Specifications

  • Premium Construction: Built with high-grade EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) synthetic rubber and reinforced with multi-layer high-strength polyester fibers.

  • Extreme Durability: Highly resistant to ethylene glycol coolants, mineral oils, ozone aging, and severe job-site vibrations.

  • Pressure Ratings: Rated for a standard working pressure of ≤220kPa, with an extreme burst pressure threshold of ≥1000kPa.

  • Temperature Range: Maintains flexibility and seal integrity in extreme environments from -40℃ to +125℃.

  • Exact Fitment: Standard 50mm (2-inch) inner diameter with precise bending angles to perfectly match original CAT factory mounting points and hose clamps.

Official Troubleshooting & Maintenance Guide

Based on standard heavy-equipment maintenance protocols, a failing coolant hose can lead to severe engine damage. Watch out for these common failure symptoms on your 3126B engine:

1. Coolant Leaks at Interface or Hose Body

Causes: Rubber aging/micro-cracking, loss of elasticity at the port causing loose clamps, excessive cooling system pressure, or rusted radiator interfaces.

Solution: Cold-check the 190-5795 hose for brittleness or cracks. Replace if aging is visible. Torque new OEM-spec clamps to the correct standard. Check the radiator cap's pressure valve to ensure the system isn't over-pressurized. Clean all interface surfaces before installing the new hose.

2. Hose Bulging or Localized Swelling

Causes: Internal polyester reinforcement layer breakage, long-term engine overheating, or internal rubber corrosion due to degraded coolant.

Solution: A bulging hose is a critical warning—replace immediately to prevent bursting. Diagnose the root cause of engine overheating (e.g., failed thermostat, clogged radiator). Always use CAT-approved ethylene glycol coolant and adhere to fluid replacement intervals.

3. Hardening, Brittleness, and Cracking

Causes: Expired service life, prolonged exposure to high-temperature exhaust baking, oil contamination, or mixing incompatible coolant types.

Solution: If the hose feels rock-hard and lacks elasticity, replace it. Ensure the hose routing is kept away from the exhaust manifold or install heat shields. Clean any oil spills immediately. As a standard practice, inspect all cooling hoses every 4,000 hours or 2 years.

4. Catastrophic Hose Burst & Massive Leakage

Causes: Complete structural failure due to severe aging, steam generation from severe engine overheating, sharp object punctures, or frozen coolant in winter.

Solution: Shut down the engine instantly to prevent cylinder scoring. Replace the 190-5795 hose and conduct a full cooling system diagnostic (water pump, fan, thermostat). Ensure proper winterization by using antifreeze with the correct freezing point—never run pure water in freezing conditions.
